WE’RE ALMOST THERE!
The team from Outerspace Playgrounds have been ploughing through development work to the Early Years playground and have almost completed works in this area.
We set them the task of creating an ‘all-weather’ play and learning area which supported the early years curriculum and principles of learning through play.
John, Richard, Henry and the team are currently working to add the sensory elements to Nursery area before installing a sedum, secret garden which overlooks the all-weather play station and stands as a central area, complete with a Chinese inspired roofed-tower!
We are looking forward to the official opening before the half term holiday, at which time the temporary access to the emergency gate via Badminton Close will end.
In the meantime, we urge you to respect our wider school community and local residents by not driving down Badminton Close or using it as a turning circle. Please also respect our neighbours by preventing your child(ren) from using the residents’ private gardens as a pedestrian footpath or dropping litter on their lawns. Thank you.
