At the start of this term Reception children have been involved in two Forest School sessions.

These sessions involved the children exploring the outdoor environment going on a Gruffalo hunt, making friendship bracelets and all children were involved in outdoor activities linked to the stories ‘Gruffalo’ and a new story called ‘Log dog.’

Child’s comments-

Child 1- I like making my pine dog. His name is called Rocket the dog.

Child 2-My favourite part of Forest School was making my own bracelet.

Child 3- I liked playing hide and seek in the woods.

Child 4- My favourite was making my own stick person. My stickman was a princess called Bella.

Check out some of the creations the children made out of natural resources from the forest (Click 'View Images From This Article' Below)
